世界杨氏联谊会长丹斯里拿督斯里杨忠礼

马来西亚丹斯里拿督斯里（最高拿督勋衔）、杨忠礼机构创办人与集团主席杨忠礼博士是一位非常杰出的金门籍侨领。１９２９年出生于马来西亚吉隆坡，祖籍福建金门县，现任马来西亚福建社团联合会名誉会长。   

杨忠礼博士从事建筑业四十余年，经过一番艰苦的奋斗与坚韧不拔的精神，终于建立起他的企业王国——杨忠礼机构，出任总裁，并把业务推广至多元化，目前除建筑业外，还从事屋业发展、能源电力、旅游业、混凝土制造业及电子商务等领域。他的各项业务都稳健发展，有很好的业绩表现。 
丹斯里杨忠礼及其家族企业是父辈开拓、自身创业、儿孙传承的。在《亚洲周刊》主办的年度国际华商５００排行榜中，其公司排名第７３；全球５００华商综合企业排名中，其公司是入榜的马来西亚３家华商企业之一。其长子杨肃斌被《财富》杂志评为亚洲２５位最有权力商人之一。
杨博士学贯中西，自投身建筑业之后，勇于创新，引进先进国家之建筑技术及机械，为马国建筑史上掀开新的一页，也打破了马国建筑业被先进国垄断的局面，使马国建筑界能与各先进国争一日之长短。
杨博士不仅为马国建筑界的领袖，同时在亚洲与太平洋区也是一位知名的建筑家，曾出任亚太国际建筑联合会会长及东亚国家建筑联合会主席等要职。他热心社会公益，曾出任许多社团要职。对国家社会服务，功绩昭然，为世推崇。为表彰他对促进与改革建筑业的特殊贡献，他先后被马国最高元首封赐Ｐ．Ｐ．Ｎ．Ｋ．Ｍ．Ｎ．及丹斯里Ｐ．Ｓ．Ｍ．等勋衔，雪州苏丹封赐其Ｐ．Ｊ．Ｋ．及拿督等勋衔。
杨博士不仅事业成功，而且拥有一个幸福美满的家庭，其贤内助潘斯里拿汀斯里杨陈开蓉女士，为他早年同学，乃马国著名教育家，曾在教育界服务２７年，深受师生爱戴，亦为校方所器重。他们育有五男二女，皆在英国受过大学高等教育，学有专长，能力亦强，长子肃斌，三子肃宏，四子肃祥，次女淑卿均获英国工程师资格，次子杨肃坚为测出量师，长女杨淑敏为会计师，幼子杨肃坚为职业律师，一门七杰均在同一家族企业共事，各有分工，各司其责。该机构多元化业务之发展，大有青出于蓝之概。
杨忠礼博士的家族企业被列为马来西亚十大华商企业之一。虽然在马来西亚出生长大，事业也已达到顶峰，但至今，杨忠礼博士仍对故乡金门及闽南怀着深深的思怀之情。“我父亲１８岁就下南洋，所以我在马国长大，但我还是经常回到故乡金门。１９６６年、１９８６年、２００４年我都回去过。”杨忠礼是位乡土情结很重的人，他把金门、厦门视同家，因为金门古属同安（厦门），每次回乡，总要多了解家乡的近况。

好友拿督王俊豪曾在阅读杨忠礼回忆录后，写下“自古商场如战场，得失成败凭力量。足智多谋成大计，业振四海把名扬”的诗句，贴切道尽这位传奇企业家的丰功伟业。

马来西亚杨忠礼电力公司以38亿购得淡马锡西拉雅能源公司

标售西拉雅能源公司（PowerSeraya）的活动上周刚中途喊停，昨日又突然宣布卖给了马来西亚的杨忠礼电力国际公司（YTL Power International），价格是38亿元。
淡马锡控股（Temasek Holdings）是于昨日傍晚签约，把在西拉雅能源的100％股权，卖给杨忠礼电力的子公司——Sabre Energy Industries私人有限公司。　　淡马锡控股的文告透露，Sabre Energy将支付36亿元的购价，并承担西拉雅能源的2亿零100万元债务。这个交易预期在2009年初（3月之前）完成。
西拉雅能源是淡马锡控股脱售的第三家，也是最后一家电力公司。今年3月，淡马锡控股以超高的42亿3500万元价格，把大士电力（Tuas Power，前为大士能源）标售给中国华能集团（China Huaneng）之后，市场局势便开始每况愈下。
在9月间，它仍成功以40亿元把圣诺哥能源（Senoko Power）标售给日本丸红集团（Marubeni）领导的财团。但环球金融市场信贷干涸，使淡马锡基于市场环境欠佳，而在上周三宣布中止标售西拉雅能源。
去年10月间宣布标售计划时，市场预期淡马锡脱售电力资产的收入可达75亿元资金，现在有关收入已超过110亿元，只是西拉雅能源终非以竞标方式脱售。之前市场人士曾估计，西拉雅能源可能以约25亿元出售。
淡马锡投资部总监邓慧娴在文告中透露：“我们上周中止该标售之后，杨忠礼电力国际公司主动向我们提出一个符合了我们的要求的献议。我们对成功脱售西拉雅能源感到高兴。”
淡马锡投资部董事经理黄锦贤表示：“脱售西拉雅能源后，淡马锡控股落实了协助发展竞争性的新加坡发电市场的承诺。自从十多年前把电力资产改革为三家独立运作的公司以来，我们得到电力与煤气职员工会坚定的支持。若没有他们给予一个竞争、有效率和世界级电力业的合作与支持，过去14年的进展将不可能。”
在截至今年3月底财年里，西拉雅能源公司的营业额为27亿9000万元，取得盈利2亿1800万元。
